First, no one wanted Romney, then they had no choice and Romney become the official Republican face. Then all forces rallied round the party, but still it was not a sure shot. So the media reported close races because close races sell and lo we had some close races…but then something funny happened when folks got to see both main candidates react to the recent storm damage. Remember how John McCain handled his reaction to the unfolding financial meltdown four years ago? Same same but very different. 
New York City’s mayor, an independent, said climate change may have been a factor in Hurricane Sandy and believed President Obama was the best candidate to tackle the issue.
