If the "oath" is the main point the union is using I feel bad for them…who in the age of post 911 security kabuki believes in the privacy of anything moving thru other hands let alone a gov agency?
The gripes about post office lines are woven into the national gestalt. Being able to print your own postage, the alternative drop off locations, other companies doing the deliveries….all of these have helped make mailing items less a hurmphing experience. So this latest move seems less a major shift and more a continuation of a process.
