Minecraft has been one of those goto  items as both a Dad and a gamer. It is an indie game, the original dev has opinions of what makes games fun and he has so far stuck to his words, and the community that has grown up around Minecraft is all about openly sharing the joy. Not, say, nickle and diming folks for user created skins, maps or mods. Keeping it open and innovative. Not, say, suing your user base for doing those things.Â
MSCraft? It is like selling christmas to the scrooge?  My house will not be amused one bit. 
The Wall Street Journal is reporting that, according to “a person with knowledge of the matter”, Microsoft is in “serious discussions” to buy Mojang, the studio that made smash hit Minecraft.
