Time and Time Again

This blog goes back 10 years or more…in that time the places I have used to post my thoughts, links and whatnots have shifted from services both self hosted and otherly hosted. I think its now time to think about unifying all the bits and bitness that makes up the loose miasma of my gestalt in this place. And so I will try to once again make this the place all things can be gotten and from which a capture of things can be had. Connect the dots.

Such is the idea…..

    I go back and forth on the issue of fragmented identity. It takes more trouble to centralize and own your identity, and it’s hard to get facebooker types to to go along. But it’s so worth it.

    In the end my pattern is to support one or two third party identities, like FB and Twitter, plus my own site. My own site lasts much longer but gets much less traffic.
