Prof Feynman hits an important nail on the head here, not just for physics but for much of the understanding we deal with in our daily lives as part of this social construct we call living.
-There is not understanding because of language, this can be fixed through mediation.
-There is not understanding because of terms, this can be fixed through education.
-There is not understanding because you refuse to understand, because you decided it is not worth your while to understand, because it would not jibe with your constructs or it would challenge beliefs you would rather hold on to than to understand. This is much harder to fix and is often unfixable because you do not want it to be fixed.Â
Feynman's remedy is simple and effective.
