Brenda gets a good write up in the WillyWeek. If your in Portland and want crepes give her place a visit.

It started a year ago when my youngest son was born. A friend of the family gave me a copy of Shoen Jump to pass the time. For the most part it was swords and skirts; one story though caught my interest. Hikaru No Go is the story of a young kid who comes to have the ghost of a one time Go master live in his head. The ghost guides the kid into playing Go and the kid in turn gets hooked.
Which in turn gets me hooked on Go. Sure, I have played Go a few times in my life but this is a more studied affair.
You can find me on the IGS servers getting schooled by anyone 22kyu and above.
Jason Scott has posted about his finding of Pinball Mecca. Lets hope some of this shows up on the Arcade documentary he is currently shooting.
“The Pinball Hall of Fame in Las Vegas has only come into the world this year. It is the work of a number of people but primarily Tim Arnold, a fervent collector of pinball machines who has been credited with having nearly 1,000 in various states, but with over 400 in good shape. He’s had this collection for decades, having been an arcade operator or involved with them about as long as I’ve been alive.
His dream was to have a place loaded with pinball machines, a museum where you could both see these artifacts of the latter half of the 20th century but also be able to play them. And not just play them, play them at the original prices and have a great time.
Currently, that dream has come true”
