I love easy to make pickling recipes…they are fun, the kids can help, they are quick and in the end you have the yumnoms+ … I like this article for a few reasons…the recipe is dead simple, the source is a guy running a blog called "Never Trust A Skinny Baker" and as an added bomus some one in the Lifehacker comments gives an example of using your dishwasher as a simple canning alternative. Now we have all the gear to do proper old school canning, make no mistake about that, but this dishwasher method has me hooked…..yes I will be trying it soon.
