Dear lord but Skylanders is the money pit:)- The kids got it from Grandma for christmas and now the dinning room table is a planning station for which figures/packs to buy next..using min/max stat analysis and price point matching across several differnt sources….If you thought MtG(of your money) was bad just try Skylanders…brilliantly evil.
Now as the parent with some ideas I have to ask…has anyone played around with spoofing the RFID tags such that a simple trip to the adafruit site and some work on code might unlock the games goodies without buying into the money pit approach? I ask soley for education purposes…really.


Made a 5 bone roast beast last night…seared on the outside and 127 on the inside..everyone was happy. I took the bones to the stsock pot lasst night along with some veges and flavors….today we have a freezer of muffin tins chilling beef flavored hockey pucks for latter use and a pot of faux pho simmering for the meal tonight. A good cut of meat if a gift that keeps giving. Beefy days till the new year, then its an E2 plant strong push for at least 3/4 of the year…. the last few years of meat eating have showed u p in my most recent blood work, the first time ever I had above avg LDLs. Hard to argue facts.
