CHIP based Captive Portal, AP, Audio Streaming, VoIP, etc etc..AnyfestoCHIP
The 9$ CHIP board can do many things and now it can be an AnyfestoBox. Based on Library/Pirate Box with Audio streaming, VoIP, Ebook catalog added in to the mix. Add a USB stick with content, slap on battery and you have an all walking all serving network in your pocket.
Regular readers of my posts will have heard this same list of wonderserverz goodness from my other Anyfesto and PiFold postings. The thing that makes the CHIP interesting is not only the price and the size but also the built in wifi radio that can handle itself as two devices. So while Anyfesto runs off of wlan0 you can be connected to your house net, another network, even the intertubes it self. They way I have it set up now does not bridge the two. That can be changed if you want. The possibilities are …interesting.
