Anti Big Gov legislators working the Big Gov office supplies….or Franking[1] the system while spanking the system.

"The top franker, Representative Joe Heck, is a first-term Nevada Republican elected with the support of Tea Party voters. Heck sent mass mailings worth $430,680 from the beginning of 2011 through March 31, 14.2 percent more than the next largest franker, according to House records. He sent letters about Medicare, the national debt and balancing the budget."

[1] "The privilege known as franking, dating to the Continental Congress in 1775, allows lawmakers to send mail to constituents at no cost using their signatures. Franking doesn’t deprive the Postal Service, which reported $65.7 billion in revenue in its 2011 fiscal year, of income. It does cost U.S. taxpayers who reimburse the Postal Service at rates similar to those paid by other bulk mailers."

Lawmakers intent on dictating how the U.S. Postal Service cuts billions from its spending are among those helping themselves to a favorite congressional perk: free mail.

For a while now +Robert Llewellyn  has been putting out a show called Carpool [1] for the intertubes that is basically him driving in a car with an interesting passenger. Spot on great interviews all while he is navigating the road. At the same time there is Marc Maron and his spot on  sit down with other comedians called WTF[2] . Now comes Jerry Seinfeld with the "original" idea for an intertubez show about talking to comedians while in a car[3].

The uber rich Sienfeld decides to get on that Interbuez wagon by lifting Carpool and WTF? He will be tooling around in his car collection with his big named pals as they putter around Richistan and schmooze it up  for a tank or two. Yeah….um…

So if you want to see the real deal head on over to Carpool and WTF

"I actually support funding for teaching the fundamentals of America's Founding Fathers' religion, which is Christianity, in public schools or private schools. I liked the idea of giving parents the option of sending their children to a public school or a Christian school."
"We need to insure that it does not open the door to fund radical Islam schools. There are a thousand Muslim schools that have sprung up recently. I do not support using public funds for teaching Islam anywhere here in Louisiana."    Valarie Hodges (R)

It’s an honest mistake, assuming that the Constitution only protects your own personal megachurch faith. But one Louisiana Republican is learning the hard way that religious school vouchers can be use…
