It is becoming increasingly clear that +Wil Wheaton is the new Kevin Bacon. My 10 year old runs out of the living room to tell me the guy from the Table Top podcast is going to be on The Big Bang Theory. A while back he heard some friends talking at a get togther we had at the house how they knew Wil Wheaton from school. He was even on an early BBS/isp system some of us were on called Mindvox. Of course there is the Star Trek the boys watch….
For my two boys it seems as if Wil is as omnipresent as the Yogscast….and that is saying something.

Tammy is everything I had hoped the future would hold..srsly. She is handed a phone cam during an Occupy  live stream at the embassy where Assange is at so that the owner can get fresh charge on the spare batteries…so what does she do with the opportunity? She decides to try to interview the police, to go up to the embassy and ring the bell to see if they would chat, she talks back to the conflicted, she comments on the surroundings….sheer and utter brilliance.  BBTammy TShirts please.Â
Update…the Occupy stream went down, I guess the batteries ran out.  Her bit was captured at http://www.ustream.tv/embed/recorded/24736941  Tammy is handed the cam at 26:47…she takes a while to warm up but then she is a bright star. At 37:00 she starts to try to talk to the cops…and then she walks up and rings the buzzer at the embassy.  A person with a cam, a link to a streaming service and the want to talk about whats going on around her…
