There was a time before the intertubes when knowing a thing meant hunting for a physical representation of the knowledge of a thing. Books were a big part of this. Somehow with out phatconnexons or mobiles folks got to the knowing. Which is more than you can say for many people in this brave new world. An example of this….a volume form one of my fave series of knowing, the Little Blue Books, circa 1922. Ah the good old days when it seemed as if evolution was going to be aok. Oh lordy what they would make of us now.
