*The Dumbing Down of America Marches On.*
The True Believers of American Exceptionalism  move forward to white wash the school's history lessons. The students did a great job in showing that in this case  they have more understanding of the topic than many of the  "adults".Â
One thing is clear though, the solders of American Exceptionalism are deathly afraid of American History being taught as History. Thier goal is open and clear, Propaganda needs to replace History. They are very open about wanting to  hide any mention of civil disobedience,  missteps like  the treatment of native Americans, Japanese internment camps, McCarthy era witch hunts, etc etc.
Hundreds packed a Jefferson County School Board meeting Thursday night. The board decided to create a curriculum review committee with its first goal to examine Advanced Placement U.S. history.
Play Storeless
I am looking for places and cases where use of Googles Play Store is limited or done away with. I am seeing myself using things like the Humble Bundle App for games and F-Droid for other things. The question then becomes how much can an Android user move off the Play Store…What elese is there that works better than not. I realise Drive/Doc/Hangouts use will keep at least a toe in the water.
A glimmer of hope from the younglings…..now even younger. Lets hope some of this rubs off on their parents. 
Several dozen students from Carmody Middle School walked out of classes on Tuesday morning.
