Chess Club Fundraiser
I do not do this often, but this is a cause I can totally endorse. It is the South Lakewood Elementary Chess Club, yes the same Chess Club I help run at my kid's school. Â After a few years of old donated boards and little else we are looking to raise fund to equip the club for the years to come. Â The kids have proven they are able to put in the hard work.Â
We are looking to get  enough tournament  ready boards, chess clocks and a real demo board. We are also looking to get the kids into  recording their games so  having a supply of log books for all the players is something we think will help them a ton.Â
Give what you can, every bit helps. Also feel free (and much thanked) Â to spread this around. Â
